Should I protect my skin from UV rays all year round?

Yes—UVA rays are present year-round, regardless of the weather. They pass through clouds and windows, reaching the deeper layers of the skin and accelerating aging. A daily SPF is essential—even in the city.

What’s the difference between UVA and UVB?

UVA = aging, UVB = burning. UVA rays degrade collagen and elastin, while UVB rays cause sunburn. A good sunscreen protects against both.

How do UV rays impact the skin?

They disrupt the skin barrier and microbiome, damage keratinocytes, and trigger oxidative stress and inflammation—leading to pigmentation, dehydration, and premature aging.

Why is UVA protection particularly important?
