Usage tips

The micellar gel

Apply a small amount of gel to damp skin. Massage gently until a light foam forms, then rinse with lukewarm water. Pat the skin dry.


In the morning, use on its own for a fresh, hydrating cleanse that awakens the skin without stripping it.

In the evening, use as the second step of a double cleanse, after the Cleansing Balm, to remove any remaining residue and leave the skin perfectly clean, soft and balanced.

Does it remove waterproof make-up?

No, The Micellar Gel is best suited for light make-up. For waterproof and long-wear make-up, we recommend Aime Cleansing Balm. This oil balm effectively removes all types of make-up, including waterproof, without rubbing or irritating the skin.

Does it leave the skin feeling dry after rinsing?

No. On contact with water, The Micellar Gel transforms into a light foam that rinses off easily. Formulated with glycerin and panthenol, it leaves the skin clean, soft and comfortable, without dryness or tightness.

Can I use it morning and evening?

Absolutely. It can be used morning and/or evening depending on your needs. In the morning, it gently removes excess sebum built up overnight; in the evening, it can be used alone to remove light make-up and impurities, or after the Cleansing Balm as part of a double cleanse.

What is double cleansing?

Double cleansing is a two-step method that deeply cleanses the skin without stripping it. First, an oil-based cleanser like the Cleansing Balm dissolves make-up, SPF and excess sebum. Then, a water-based cleanser like The Micellar Gel removes remaining impurities, leaving the skin clean, soft and ready for skincare.

How is it different from a classic gel cleanser?
