Beauty tips: how to work on your eyes with a simple mascara

If there were only one, this would be it! Mascara is a vanity case's must-have, capable of highlighting and opening up the eyes in just a few swipes. Makeup artist Margot Priolet shares her tips for working your eyes with just this one.
Beauty tips : comment travailler son regard avec un simple mascara

More than seven out of ten French women apply eyelashes every morning. While the boom in temporary false eyelashes and salon eyelash extensions may be slowing mascara sales, this makeup staple of vanity cases isn't over yet. And that's thanks to innovations across the board: more than 2,500 patents filed worldwide on packaging, formulas, and even new application methods.

The latest trend that consumers are crazy about: infusing care into the formula (as natural as possible, thank you) to combine business with pleasure. At Aime, we swear by Makeup care , and the Mascara Tubing Eyelash Care meets all expectations in terms of makeup finish, intense color, and active ingredients that strengthen lashes and activate growth.

We asked makeup artist Margot Priolet for her tips for applying eye makeup using only mascara. She's adamant: you can vary the effects and styles with just this little brush packed with wax and pigment.

Material effects

You can play with the amount applied. By using very little, you simply tint the lashes without adding substance. Ideal for fans of natural makeup or women with blond or very light lashes. With one coat, you create a sheathing and lengthening effect. With two or three coats, you create volume. Afraid of clumps? Wait until it is completely dry between each application.

Shape games

Good to know: to create doe eyes, only apply mascara to the outer lashes. Visually, this stretches a slightly round eye .

On the other hand, if you apply it to the entire fringe, even the smallest inner lashes, you will create a fan that enlarges the eyes.

And the lower lashes?

Everyone does what they want. ” Margot is for freedom of expression.

What you need to know is that by covering the lower lashes, mascara can close the eyes, especially when you are tired.

And if you have very long lower lashes, be aware that the pigments can transfer to the skin and create a dark halo.

But what is “tubing” mascara?

Micro-tubes are the technology the Aime teams have opted for. The principle? Each lash is wrapped in a tiny tube to add volume, curl, and lengthen it, all without moving all day long. Looking for more? Say goodbye to removing makeup with cotton pads that tear off your lashes. The formula, made from gentle polymers, dissolves upon contact with warm water. And that's life-changing!
