Que fait un médecin esthétique pour prendre soin de sa peau ?

What is your daily skincare routine?

I double cleanse my face morning and night. I apply a vitamin C serum every day. antioxidant before my day cream and SPF 50.

I usually wear makeup every day, except on weekends when I have nothing planned to let my skin breathe. I take my makeup off every night as soon as possible as soon as I get home.

My evening routine generally includes a ten-minute LED mask session before applying a night cream and retinol treatment.

Describe your lifestyle to us

I usually get up around 6:45 a.m. I rarely eat breakfast except on weekends, and I take 1g of vitamin C, spirulina, and marine collagen every morning. .

I eat a lot of antioxidant vegetables and fruits and little meat. I never snack between meals because I don't feel the need. I try to maintain a balanced diet, but I don't deprive myself when I have festive events.

I go to bed between 10:30 and 11 a.m. at the latest because I need at least eight hours of sleep to feel refreshed.

I exercise two to three times a week, combining Pilates yoga with more cardio activity.

What treatments do you provide in your doctor's office or institute?

The idea is to preserve your youthful capital. I think it's important to start beauty treatments early, from the age of 30, to regularly stimulate collagen production and delay its natural decline. This allows you to age more slowly and naturally.

What I do and what I advise my patients is to perform a deep cleansing and exfoliation treatment like the Hydrafacial every two months, combined with microneedling treatments adapted to your skin type. This micro-perforation technique allows the active ingredients to penetrate the dermis and stimulate fibroblasts to boost collagen production. I recommend doing this as a course of treatment, twice a year.

Is there one gesture that changes everything in your opinion?

I think using LEDs at home and as a treatment in the office or at Glow Studio Aime is very beneficial for delaying skin aging. As I tell my patients, consistency pays off. With this routine, I've seen my skin texture refine and even out, and stay stable much longer.

Any final advice for aging well?

It's important to have an Inside & Out routine to act effectively from the inside and outside. I also recommend not setting goals that are too complicated so that you can stick to them over time and that they aren't too restrictive. You also need to know how to enjoy yourself to avoid frustration!
