Why doesn't The Simple Cleanser foam?
The Simple Cleanser uses naturally non-ionic surfactants, which are more gentle than traditional foaming surfactants that may act as endocrine disruptors in some individuals.

Is The Simple Oil effective on waterproof makeup?
Yes. The Simple Oil dissolves makeup (including waterproof makeup) while actively nourishing and renewing the skin, leaving it hydrated, soft and purified. For more stubborn makeup, you may cleanse with a facial cloth (100% organic cotton) to optimize effectiveness.

Is it necessary to rinse my face after using The Simple Oil?
If using The Simple Oil as a cleanser, we suggest rinsing with a damp cotton cloth. If using as a treatment step in your skin care routine, (face or body) no additional rinse is required.

The Simple Cleanser

In the morning: massage a dime-sized amount of cleanser on damp skin and rinse, prepping skin for The Simple Serum to follow.

In the evening: Dampen the textured side of the AIME Cotton Cloth, massaging skin to remove impurities and makeup. Add a dime-sized amount of The Simple Cleanser to skin, and rinse with the smooth side of the cotton cloth to finish.

The Simple Oil

To gently remove make-up: use 2 to 3 pumps and massage into dry skin, releasing impurities and tensions from the day. Rinse with AIME cotton cloths and warm water.

To hydrate the body:  Apply The Simple Oil on damp skin after showering to lock in moisture and deeply hydrate. 

To hydrate the skin: May be used as an occlusive barrier as the last step in your skin care routine, reducing trans-epidermal water loss.

To nourish hair: May be used as a pre-shampoo treatment on damp hair, with a few drops before your shower, or as a finishing oil on ends. Hair is left with shine and radiance.
